ESPN and WCVB Channel 5 will serve as the exclusive national and local broadcast partners for the Boston Marathon starting in 2023. ESPN will air the 127th Boston Marathon on its flagship network on April 17, 2023 starting at 8:30am ET. WCVB will begin its coverage at 4am ET.
Fox Nation is premiering “Hidden Gems with Laura Ingraham” on Wednesday. The three-part series follows Ingraham traveling across the country as she spotlights people, places and treasures that contribute to U.S. history and culture.
GAC Family will host its first “Great American Christmas” programming event starting July 2 through Independence Day weekend. It’ll feature 24/7 Christmas Movies, including “Christmas Time Is Here,” “Jingle Bell Princess” and “A Cinderella Christmas.”

]]>AMC Networks’ two-episode premiere of the final season of “Better Call Saul” was the biggest day of new direct-to-consumer signups for AMC+. The first episode of the event brought in 1.4 million total viewers in live+same day ratings and had over 500,000 engagements across social platforms on the day of the premiere.
GAC Media signed Candace Cameron Bure to develop, produce and star in movies and TV across GAC Family and GAC Living. She’ll take an executive role overseeing and curating programming for the networks as a whole and develop and produce original content for GAC’s channels through Candy Rock Entertainment.
INSP greenlit “Into the Wild Frontier” for a second season. The historical docudrama’s sophomore campaign will have eight episodes, with the premiere date to be announced later this year.
Crown Media is developing Crayola and DaySpring, two new content franchises based on the Hallmark brand. Crayola aims to help kids be creative while DaySpring focuses on sharing faith in authentic ways.

]]>The United States Football League, NFL Films and Fox Sports are partnering to produce “United By Football: A Season in the USFL.” The 13-episode series will follow players and coaches as they compete in the league’s inaugural season. The series premieres with a one-hour special April 16 at 6:30pm on Fox and will lead into the season kickoff game. Remaining episodes will be 30-minutes in duration and will first air on Fox with encore showings on FS1 and Tubi.
TelevisaUnivision is adapting comedic novel “Captain Pantoja and the Special Service” as a Spanish-language series for ViX+, the SVOD service set to launch later this year.
“FBN Prime” will begin its second season on Fox Business Network on April 25 at 8pm. Shows “How America Works” with Mike Rowe, “Mansion Global,” “American Dream Home” and “American Built” return, with “Legends & Lies,” “My Dream Car!” and “Billion Dollar Idea” making their respective FBN debuts this season.
